Cami’s Spaghetti Waffle w/ Chicken Parm

Crispy pasta waffle holds the chicken parm perfectly.

Sometimes dinner needs to be FUN. This dinner is super easy, using prepared items from the store. Get the kids involved, and let them assist or do the whole thing themselves. I love this recipe! After the LONGEST summer of our lives, you just need a dinner you don’t make from scratch. #semihomemade

Easy Chicken Parm

1 bag Great Value Boneless Chicken Wyngz (Walmart)

1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce

Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil

1 lb. spaghetti noodles

2 eggs

1/2 cup baking mix powder

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Place the chicken wyngz in a 9×13 baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and top with marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese. Return to the oven for 15 more minutes, or until sauce is bubbly, and cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and set aside.

Meanwhile, cook your spaghetti.

Make your spaghetti waffles. (recipe below)

A recipe the whole family will have FUN with.

Spaghetti Waffle

1 lb. spaghetti, cooked according to pkg directions. Drain. Add 2 eggs, beaten, 1/2 cup baking mix powder, 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Stir together to coat the noodles.

Preheat your waffle iron. Use a non stick cooking spray before each “spaghetti waffle.” Use a generous handful, of the prepared noodles to the waffle iron. (ours is smaller) Make sure your waffle iron base has noodles completely around it, and it’s about 1 1/2″ in height. Shut the lid, to secure, the pasta will crisp on the edges, cheese will melt and the egg and baking mixture will secure it all together. Once the waffle is nice, golden, and slightly crispy, remove the waffle and repeat until all waffles are made. Serve warm with chicken, sauce and more cheese on top. Top with fresh basil for garnish.

Happy Dinnertime! XO
