Italian Baked Eggs

Retreat recipes are my favorite recipes! This one was pretty delicious. I’m already craving it.

Brunch never tasted better.

Italian Baked Eggs

20 oz. favorite marinara

6-8 eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

Dried or fresh basil & oregano for garnish

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

In a 9×13 pan, spread the marinara on the bottom of the dish. Then crack and place the eggs into the marinara. Drizzle the heavy cream around each egg and top with as much cheese as your heart desires. This recipe is a guide. lol

Bake 8-12 minutes depending on how you like your eggs cooked. Remove from the oven and top with fresh or dried basil & oregano.

Serve with baguette slices and fresh fruit.
