Semi- Homemade Ramen with Studio 5

Favorite “authentic” grocery store ramens:

Nisson Roah Tonkotsu

Nisson Roah Umami Soy Sauce

Sapporo Ichiban Japanese Tonkotsu

Toppings:

Shredded Rotisserie Chicken

Shrimp

Sliced bbq Pork loin

Soft boiled egg

Candlestick carrots

Diced green beans

Sauteed Bok Choy, roughly chopped

Pickled Jalapeno or sliced jalapeno

Cilantro or parsley

Sesame seeds

Limes

Sesame oil

Sriricha sauce

The new dinner idea- A Ramen Bar!

For 4-6 servings

Read the directions. Bring the amount of water listed to a simmer and add:

1 cup chicken or beef broth

Seasoning packets

1-2 slices of fresh ginger or 1 tsp. dried ginger

1-2 cloves of garlic

3 whole cloves

1 tsp. fish oil

(of course these are all optional but recommended)

Simmer the broth for 15 minutes. Then add the noodles and cook until tender, aldente.

Divide the broth and noodles into 6 serving bowls. Top with your favorite toppings listed above. Serve hot with chopsticks (optional).
