Savory Yogurt Bowl

Move over sweet yogurt bowls, there’s a new kid in town.

I wanted to make another great meal, inspired by Fueled…. the whole body reset I started in February. I still feel amazing. And I’m still eating delicious whole foods. I’m creating even more “bonus” recipes that follow the guidelines of the program. And this recipe does not disappoint. It’s so great. And I love savory yogurt bowls. Who knew? More ideas coming soon using this concept I’m sure of that.

Savory Yogurt Bowl

1/2 cup 4% Fage yogurt per serving

1/2 English Cucumber

1/2 cup kalamata olives, sliced

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 red onion, diced

1 tbsp. capers

1/2 cup chopped parsley

1/4 cup chopped mint

2 green onions, diced

Pinch of salt

1 lemon juiced

Spicy red pepper oil Sogno Toscano (my favorite brand)

In a medium bowl, combine the salad ingredients…. the diced vegetables…. the cucumber, olives, tomatoes, red onion, capers, parsley, mint, onions, salt, and lemon juice. Toss the ingredients and set aside. Place 1/2 cup yogurt into each serving bowl. Then divide the salad mixture on top of each bowl. Then drizzle with some spicy oil for garnish if desired.

It’s that easy.

Happy yogurt bowl making! XO
