The highlight of my week.

Have you heard of Richard Paul Evans? Some of you may know his books, The Christmas Box, The Letters, The Carousel, Promise Me, The Walk…. I could go on and on…. at my signing at the grand-re-opening of Valley Fair Deseret Book, I was able to sign with him… I didn’t know ahead of time, which is probably a good thing. It would have made me crazy! Here we are together.

Not only is he a talented story teller, he is gracious, kind, and very handsome. He shared some priceless advice with me and we chatted about books, being an author and the passion for writing.

He purchased my book, 101 Gourmet Cake Bites– which was a huge compliment to me! Of course, I couldn’t leave the signing without getting a signature on one of his books, I choose, Lost December. It is scheduled to be released November 1st.

Meeting him was the highlight of my week (and career). I am grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way along this baking journey. And will always treasure this day.
