A week with my sister!

We’re lucky. All of our kids get along really well, and they all love to swim. Most of our days were spent by the pool. Keeping cool from the scorching heat.

And when Heidi’s in town, we put her nursing skills to work. Here she is removing Papa’s stitches. And we all watched. Except my husband. He doesn’t do well around medical stuff. That’s all I will say for now.

 

The little girls made Heidi dress up for her birthday party. Happy Birthday Heidi!

 

Then it was Grandma’s turn. Doesn’t my mother look young? Happy Birthday Grandma!

The week went by so fast. Saying our good-byes. Until we meet again- there will be 2 new babies (my sister and I are both expecting) and it will probably be at least next summer. Who want’s to travel with a newborn? We are all getting old, we all have families with little kids, and we all drive mini-vans. What does that say for us? That we are in the right place, doing the right things. I’m lucky to have such great siblings.
