Chocolate Raspberry Trifle

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Here’s a favorite dessert, that my brother in law inspired…. it’s from the 101 Gourmet No Bake Desserts cookbook (the purple one). You can get it here. There are so  many fantastic recipes in there. It’s a great cookbook to have on hand.

Three words. Chocolate. Raspberries. Cream. All in a small jar. It’s like a mini present you can eat.  I was gifted these jars, which I love,  you can get some here. Now lets make this dessert! (Literally done in less than 30 minutes.)

Chocolate Raspberry Trifle

(makes 8 – 6 oz. desserts in a jar)

2 cups milk

1 (4 oz.) pkg. Godiva chocolate instant pudding mix

3 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

1 pint heavy whipping cream

2 tbsp. powdered sugar

9×13 brownies (from your bakery dept. at the grocery store, or bake them yourself) cut into bite size pieces (I’m loving the Krusteaz GF Double Chocolate)

Mix together your milk and chocolate instant pudding. Set aside.

Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Then fold in the powdered sugar.

Start your trifle layers with the brownies, chocolate pudding, whipped cream, then

raspberries. Repeat layers. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Happy dessert making!

XO,

Wendy
